Rosa Parker

Rosa has been at UIC for almost 5 years and prior to joining Student Affairs Human Resources, she worked in Career Services as the Business Administrative Associate for 3.5 years.  Before joining the University of Illinois Family, she worked in the Vice President of Academic & Student Affairs at Triton Community College as the Lead Administrative Assistant and Employment Skills Teacher.  Rosa now has a total of 10 years working in Higher Education.

As a Human Resources Associate, she manages the student employment hiring for Student Affairs.  Rosa has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Jackson State University in Mississippi and a master’s degree from Keller Graduate School of Management with a focus in Human Resources and Health Services Management in Illinois.

Rosa has also worked at several organizations including AT&T, Sony Electronics and Blue Cross Blue Shield Association.  In her spare time, Rosa enjoys dancing, acting, sewing, cooking, mentoring the youth, and spending time with family and friends.
